Strategic Trade Client Engagement Manager

This is a key role in Citi's trade business, focused on developing and executing strategic plans for client engagement and capability deployment across financial institutions, natural resources, exporters, and intermediaries.

The successful candidate will drive the export LC business globally through origination of LC confirmation and discounting transactions, partnering with trade sales and client coverage teams to execute global strategies for EMEA domiciled clients.

Key responsibilities include maintaining share of mind for core trade products, positioning their importance to clients, managing client and competitor market research, developing product innovation roadmaps, and addressing product commoditization.

Apart from driving segment financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals, the candidate must also assess risk and demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

To be successful in this role, you should have broad and diverse function experience in marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and analytics, as well as strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

This is a full-time position located in either the UK (25 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London) or Ireland (1 North Walk Dublin).

The estimated salary range for this role is £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
