Aon is seeking a skilled Strategic Engagement Manager to join their Strategic Engagement team in London, UK. This role is perfect for a relationship-focused professional with experience in commercial insurance and business development.

The Strategic Engagement Manager will be responsible for partnering with Aon's insurance carrier clients to develop strong relationships and drive the success of their strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial insurance and experience in building positive relationships both internally and externally.

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Strategic Engagement Manager will include:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor and meeting client needs by leading teams to problem solve with distinctive solutions that challenge thinking and deliver demonstrable value.
  • Using analytical skills and insights to simplify complex issues and interdependencies and articulating a compelling justification for action. Developing and delivering high-impact presentations of insights and recommendations to support client decision-making.
  • Understanding and articulating key Aon business strategies, initiatives, and capabilities and helping clients navigate the opportunities that these present. Actively developing a network of multi-disciplinary contacts across Aon.
  • Monitoring new developments in the industry and their impact on Aon and Aon's clients.
  • Engaging in open and compelling conversations with clients (including senior level stakeholders) to understand and uncover real needs, challenge thinking appropriately, and build strategic relationships.
  • Leading in the development of new business opportunities and driving efficient and effective business practices.
