Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with paperwork and administrative tasks in the Transport department.
  • Undertake duties in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.
  • Chase information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Input data and maintain accurate records.
  • Take calls from clients and respond to their inquiries.
  • Email customers and respond to their emails.
  • Scan documents onto the system and maintain a secure and organized digital filing system.
  • Liaise with internal and external departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Ensure all personal data is collected, stored, and processed in line with the Data Protection Act (DPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Company Policies.

Requirements:

  • Computer literate, numerate, and IT literate (keyboard, data input and interpretation, basic use of Word, Excel, email, and internet).
  • GCSE A-C / 4-9 English – Preferably in English & Math's.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Motivated self-starter.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Adaptability.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable working on different software systems.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills are a must.
  • Experience in the Construction/Plant sector would be an advantage.
