We have an exciting opportunity for an efficient and organised Admin to join the purchasing team of our client, a family-run construction company based in Wembley.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in preparing and organising documentation for pre-construction activities.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain a systematic record-keeping system for pre-construction documents and correspondence.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best deals on materials and equipment required for projects.
- Coordinate with the construction team to understand project needs and ensure timely procurement to meet project timelines.
- Manage and complete PQQs for potential clients and project tenders.
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Proven experience in general administration roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the construction industry, especially Civil Engineering and Groundworks, will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of pre-construction processes and procedures is a plus.
- Experience with Sage Construction, Eque2, or any other estimating software will be advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills are essential to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
