National Account Manager / Co-Op and Own Label Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced National Account Manager to join our Kettle Foods Ltd team in this exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base within the Co-Op and Own Label channel while ensuring profitability.

You will oversee a diverse portfolio of brands and products, working closely with internal teams to devise and implement strategies for packaging formats and product ranges aimed at accelerating growth.

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a skilled negotiator to drive sustainable growth while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include proficient project management, managing P&L and budgetary responsibilities, and enhancing the distribution and activation of our brands in terms of both quality and quantity.

While this position is home-based, it requires regular UK-wide travel to see customers and also weekly visits to our main sites for team meetings in Manchester, Gateshead, and Norwich.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree-educated or strong academic background
  • Retail experience, preferably within Co-op and Own Label
  • 3+ years' experience within the Grocery channel
  • Experience working within an FMCG environment
  • P&L Management
  • Ability to negotiate & agree terms and secure incremental activity
  • Prepared to travel UK-wide for customer and Head Office meetings
