About The Role:

Riverside Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading manufacturer in the heart of Carlisle. We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Planning Manager to join their team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Labour Management system and process to improve efficiency
  • Manage overtime spend against agreed budgets, minimizing idle time and maximizing productivity
  • Provide daily and weekly labour reconciliation to stakeholders
  • Design process plans that minimize overtime and optimize resource allocation
  • Manage relationships with agency providers to ensure timely and effective recruitment
  • Agree holiday group sizes and communications with staff
  • Coach and develop direct reports, providing regular 1-2-1 feedback and guidance

Requirements:

  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments, preferably with experience in recruitment agencies
  • Proven track record of engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly analytical with strong business awareness and commercial acumen
  • Desirable: food manufacturing experience, experience in developing or implementing labour planning models
