Job Title: Workforce Coordinator

Salary: £33,000 + Quarterly Bonus

About the Job:

We are looking for a highly skilled Workforce Coordinator to manage the contract workforce at our manufacturing site in Carlisle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the temporary workers on-site, ensuring they work effectively and adhere to health and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staffing needs and coordinate with factory management to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
  • Coordinate the recruitment campaign to ensure deadlines are achieved and contractual requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, work quality, and productivity, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing temporary or contract workers, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Detailed-oriented and organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Knowledge of HR legislation and compliance, with a proactive attitude towards maintaining a safe working environment.
