Workforce Development Lead ( Assistant Director of People Services )

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Workforce Development Lead, responsible for delivering innovative people solutions aligned with the Trust's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our services are safe, caring, effective, responsive, and well-led.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with clinical and support teams to ensure effective workforce planning and management.
  2. Develop and implement workforce plans aligned with the Trust's People Strategy.
  3. Lead on the enhancement of HR systems and processes to maximise efficiency and service quality.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's level qualification in a People Management discipline or equivalent experience and demonstrate expertise in advising on strategic workforce options and service delivery models.

Salary and Benefits

This is a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits including 27-day holiday scheme rising to 33 after 10 years, flexible working Scheme, Excellent opportunities for development, Competitive NHS Pension scheme, Access to NHS discounts with retailers and leisure companies, EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) a free, confidential counselling and information service to assist with personal or work-related problems.
