We are currently seeking an exceptional Clinical Paediatric Audiologist to lead our paediatric audiology service, working closely with our dedicated team to shape and direct the service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing paediatric hearing tests, hearing aid provision, and diagnostic tests for babies, as well as developing and ratifying standard operating procedures based on modern evidence-based practice.

Job Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and clinically excellent audiologist or clinical scientist to join our welcoming workforce in audiology. The position will entail leading and strategic development of the paediatric audiology service in the acute setting and working with colleagues in the community paediatric team.

The successful applicant will have experience undertaking ABR for NHSP and understand national and regional guidelines relating to this. They will also be able to develop and implement innovative clinical procedures, ensuring best practice and quality assurance.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent leadership qualities, organisational ability, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. You will also require relevant qualifications and experience in paediatric audiology, including knowledge of national and regional guidelines.

Benefits

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and opportunities for continuing professional development.
