Assistant Director for Workforce Excellence

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as an Assistant Director for Workforce Excellence. This is a leadership opportunity to drive workforce development and improvement across the Trust, ensuring our services are safe, caring, effective, responsive, and well-led.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a Master's level qualification in a People Management discipline or equivalent experience and demonstrate expertise in advising on strategic workforce options and service delivery models. They will also be able to lead and inspire in a sense of shared purpose, overcoming challenges and delivering sustainable services and continuous transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with clinical and support teams to ensure effective workforce planning and management.
- Develop and implement workforce plans aligned with the Trust's People Strategy.
- Lead on the enhancement of HR systems and processes to maximise efficiency and service quality.
This is a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits including 27-day holiday scheme rising to 33 after 10 years, flexible working Scheme, Excellent opportunities for development, Competitive NHS Pension scheme, Access to NHS discounts with retailers and leisure companies, EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) a free, confidential counselling and information service to assist with personal or work-related problems.
