Supporting SEN Pupils

Long Term Futures Ltd is seeking a dedicated individual to support SEN pupils in a welcoming primary school. Estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
Job Description:We are looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant to provide individual and group support to SEN students, helping them engage in lessons and encouraging their personal growth. Key responsibilities include developing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), working closely with teachers to create an inclusive classroom, and communicating regular feedback to staff and parents.
- Develop IEPs tailored to the unique needs of SEN students.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to create an inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress, manage challenging behaviours, and communicate regular feedback to staff and parents.
- Support the teacher by leading small group activities and contributing to a well-organised, positive classroom environment.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or relevant degree.
- Experience working with SEN pupils.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to inclusive education.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and follow guidance.
