Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and complex needs in a primary school setting. As a key member of the support team, you will play a vital role in the educational development and well-being of young students.


Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN and complex needs, promoting their active engagement with the curriculum

  2. Work closely with pupils who face challenges in the classroom, adapting your approach based on individual needs

  3. Maintain accurate records of pupils' progress and regularly update the class teacher on their development


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a relevant degree or equivalent qualification and at least one year of experience working in a primary school setting. You must be able to build strong relationships with children and become a trusted figure in the classroom.
