Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at CV-Library. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of Key Stage 2 pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Your responsibilities will include providing 1:1 support to pupils, developing tailored strategies to meet individual needs, and facilitating small group sessions. You will also be responsible for designing and delivering targeted interventions that enhance pupils' personal growth, emotional stability, and self-assurance within the school setting.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent degree, previous experience working in a primary school setting, preferably with Key Stage 2 pupils, and additional training such as TeamTeach or Positive Behaviour Management. You will also need to have proven ability to manage challenging behaviors, supported by effective behavior management techniques and knowledge, and demonstrated expertise in supporting pupils with SEN, accompanied by an Enhanced DBS and two professional references.

We offer a competitive day rate of £90 - £105 and a long-term contract with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate, commencing in January. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people, we would love to hear from you.
