SEN Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs in a resource base provision within a Primary School in South Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing good relationships with children with additional needs
- Assisting with personal care and daily living skills
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with special needs, challenging behaviour, and personal care assistance, preferably in a SEN school setting or provision.
This is a Full-Time role starting in January 2025 and will continue for the rest of the academic year.
Contract Details:- Location: South Birmingham
- Position: SEN TA - 1:1 / Group Support
- Type of work: SEN Teaching Assistant - Supporting children with complex needs
- Duration/Likely Duration: Long term opportunity for the rest of the academic year
- Contract type: Temporary
- Full time/part time: Wednesday and Thursday Full days and Friday Mornings
- Minimum rate of pay: £86.40 per day (full-day rate)
- Hours: 8:20 am - 4pm (full day)
