We are recruiting an experienced teaching assistant to work at our partnered school in Small Heath, Birmingham, assisting students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with physical and mental disabilities in navigating the school grounds
- Communicating effectively with staff, pupils, and parents/carers
- Upholding safeguarding principles and adhering to school policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification
- At least 1 year's experience working within schools in the UK (primary, secondary or SEN)
- Kind and considerate with good physical fitness
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs
- Previous experience supporting SEND children on a small group or 1:1 basis
