Role Overview:

We are seeking an Experienced SEN Tutor Wanted to join our team at Willo Education. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working 1:1 with pupils who have Autism and Down Syndrome, providing individualized support to help them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, using your patience and empathy to engage pupils and promote their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Working closely with teaching staff and other support professionals to develop and implement personalized education plans that meet the needs of each pupil.

Requirements:

  • You should have experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • You should be patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting children with SEN.
  • You should hold up-to-date DBS clearance and be willing to undergo additional checks as required.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
