Learning Support Graduate Assistant

Academics Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Graduate Youth Worker. In this role, you will work closely with at-risk young people in a challenging community, providing essential support and guidance to help them overcome complex social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing them to build trust and rapport with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders. A graduate degree and experience working with vulnerable populations are also highly desirable. Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working one-to-one and in group settings to support students with complex social, emotional, and mental health challenges
- Assisting students in making positive choices and guiding their behaviour
- Increasing student engagement in and outside the classroom
