Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our primary school team at Academics Ltd. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting the educational development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being, promoting a secure learning environment.
  • Recognize and cater to children at various stages of development, utilizing your understanding of child psychology.
  • Plan, organize, and implement engaging play and learning activities that stimulate cognitive growth.
  • BUILD positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Support children with special educational needs, including those with communication and language difficulties and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
  • Assist in lesson planning, teaching, and assessing development progress, contributing to the overall educational excellence.
Requirements
  • Hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent, demonstrating your expertise in early years education.
  • Possess at least 10 years of experience in early years, SEND, or teaching assistant roles, showcasing your dedication to child development.
  • Have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and experience supporting children with SEN and EAL, ensuring you meet our high standards.
  • Be a team player with a passion for working with children, treating them with dignity and respect, and fostering their development.
