Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Accountant to support our Head of Integration and Acquisition Accounting on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role requires expertise in financial integration, process alignment, and control implementation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Dealing with the transfer of purchase ledger from acquired companies.
  • Migrating expenses systems and bank accounts.
  • Assisting with financial integration and addressing due diligence queries.
  • Preparing balance sheet calculations.
  • Ensuring resolution of finance-related queries.
  • Communicating with suppliers and closing down bank accounts.
  • Reviewing debtor and creditor balances.

About You

You should be a part-qualified or qualified accountant with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience in acquisitions, particularly in transactional aspects, is highly beneficial.
