About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recruitment and Outreach Lead to join our Training Team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Oxford. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment and outreach activities for our apprenticeship programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on the full arrangements for all interview and assessment centres throughout the calendar year.
  • Provide employability information, advice, and guidance to apprentice applicants.
  • Develop a pipeline of applicants meeting Business Development targets and KPIs.
  • Coordinate all STEM and outreach activities that promote our apprenticeship offering.
  • Work closely with MTC Training marketing colleagues in the promotion of our apprenticeship programmes.
  • Manage all recruitment platforms, such as National Apprenticeship Vacancy Matching Service.
  • Manage a complex and varied caseload.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who:

Essential:

  • Is fully competent in the use of MS applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel.
  • Is self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and work with limited supervision as well as part of a team.
  • Has high attention to detail.
  • Can multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Has own transport for offsite STEM visits and client visits.

Desirable:

  • Has a qualification in employability and/or Information, Advice and Guidance.
  • Has an understanding of the engineering sector.
  • Has knowledge of STEM and ED&I and the impact it can have.
  • Has previous experience in apprentice recruitment.
  • Has previous experience in the STEM sector.
  • Has experience in events organization and marketing.
