Educational Psychology Role in Local Authorities

Tripod Partners is recruiting an experienced Educational Psychologist to work with local authorities across England.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational psychology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the educational and developmental needs of children and young people.
  2. Collaborate with schools, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  3. Provide expert advice on evidence-based interventions to promote positive outcomes for children and families.
  4. Write detailed reports to inform EHCPs and other tailored strategies.
  5. Support schools and local authorities in implementing best practices and promoting continuous improvement.

Position Details:

  • Location: Various local authorities across England
  • Work Pattern: Full-time or part-time available
  • Estimated Salary: £525-675 per day, based on location and experience
  • Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Educational Psychologist with HCPC registration.
  • Significant experience in educational settings, including statutory assessments.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
