Key Accountabilities:

  1. Deliver psychological assessments to understand the educational and developmental needs of children and young people
  2. Collaborate with schools, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement targeted support plans
  3. Provide expert guidance on interventions to enhance emotional wellbeing, behaviour management, and learning outcomes
  4. Prepare comprehensive reports to inform EHCPs and other bespoke strategies
  5. Support schools and local authorities in adopting evidence-based best practices

Working Arrangements:

  • Location: Multiple local authorities across England
  • Flexible working patterns: full-time or part-time options available
  • Competitive daily rates: £500-700, dependent on local authority
  • Umbrella or PAYE payment options

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Holding HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist
  • Substantial experience in educational settings, including statutory assessments
  • Demonstrated expertise in communication and report-writing
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Salary Estimate: Based on industry standards, this role is expected to attract an annual salary range of £42,000 - £70,000, assuming a standard full-time schedule and annual increments of 3%
