Job Overview

Tripod Partners is seeking a highly skilled Educational Psychologist to join our team in supporting local authorities across England.

As an Educational Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, developing support plans, and providing expert advice on interventions.

Our ideal candidate will have significant experience working in educational settings, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough psychological assessments to identify strengths and weaknesses in children and young people.
  • Collaborating with schools, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Providing expert advice on interventions to support emotional wellbeing, behaviour management, and learning.
  • Writing detailed reports to inform EHCPs and other tailored strategies.
  • Supporting schools and local authorities in implementing evidence-based practices.

Position Details:

  • Location: Various local authorities across England
  • Work Pattern: Full-time or part-time available
  • Rates: £500-700 per day, depending on the local authority
  • Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Educational Psychologist with HCPC registration.
  • Significant experience in educational settings, including statutory assessments.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
