About the Role

Tripod Partners is seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to provide expert psychological services to support the educational and developmental needs of children and young people.

The successful candidate will work with local authorities across England, conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and developing tailored support plans.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough assessments to identify areas of need and develop targeted intervention strategies.
  • Collaborating with schools, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to implement effective interventions.
  • Providing expert guidance on strategies for improving emotional wellbeing, behaviour management, and learning outcomes.
  • Preparing detailed reports to inform Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and other bespoke initiatives.
  • Supporting schools and local authorities in adopting evidence-based practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Holding a degree in Educational Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Significant experience working within educational settings, including statutory assessments.
  • Demonstrating strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • Showcasing ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Salary Information

£500-700 per day (dependent on local authority rates)
