Job Overview

Tripod Partners is seeking an experienced Cognitive Development Specialist to work with local authorities across England. As a flexible partner, we offer adaptable working arrangements and competitive pay rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth psychological assessments to identify and address the educational and developmental needs of children and young people.
  • Collaborate closely with schools, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective support plans.
  • Provide expert advice on interventions to promote emotional wellbeing, behaviour management, and learning.
  • Develop comprehensive reports to inform Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and tailored strategies.
  • Support schools and local authorities in implementing evidence-based practices.

Position Details:

  • Location: Various local authorities across England
  • Work Pattern: Full-time or part-time available
  • Rates: £600 per day, estimated based on market standards
  • Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Educational Psychologist with HCPC registration.
  • Significant experience in educational settings, including statutory assessments.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
