About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer to join our team at Exponential-e, a leading British-owned tech company. As a Technical Trainer, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing training roadmaps, bridging development gaps, and understanding upcoming requirements to elevate our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and present hands-on training lectures, training videos, and briefings on various topics, including basic computer networking and troubleshooting, LAN administration, configuration, and maintenance of network devices, routing, configuration, and troubleshooting of static and dynamic routing protocols, firewall administration, configuration, and troubleshooting, security best practices, security and NAT policies, VPNs remote access and site-to-site, system training, and processes.
  • Develop and manage training roadmaps to ensure our team has the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver training content that meets the needs of our team.
  • Conduct training sessions with small to medium-sized groups and provide feedback to participants.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our training content is relevant and effective.
Requirements
  • Previous experience producing training courses and materials.
  • Previous experience conducting training sessions with small to medium-sized groups.
  • Strong experience with ITSM and CMDB tools.
  • Strong experience working with Fortinet products, especially FortiGate firewalls.
  • Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Demonstrable knowledge at CCNP (ENT/DC/SP/SEC) or JNCIP-ENT level.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
