Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Communication Professional to join our team at Outcomes First Group in the role of School Speech and Language Therapist. This is a permanent, term time position that offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and professional development.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for working with students who require support with their communication skills. You will develop and implement individualized plans to improve students' ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and non-verbally. Your expertise and passion for speech and language therapy will enable you to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess students' communication needs and develop individualized plans to address these needs
  • To work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of communication support
  • To provide training and guidance to staff on communication strategies and techniques
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex communication needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
