About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with their tax needs, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting a portfolio of tax clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring timely delivery of tax returns.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, proactively addressing their tax queries and concerns.
  • Working closely with management to prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Supporting the preparation of tax advice for client reports, providing clear and concise explanations of tax implications.
  • Assisting with updating internal CRMS and client portals, ensuring seamless communication with clients.
  • Staying up-to-date with technical research to support complex tax issues, providing expert guidance to clients.
  • Championing your own professional development, seeking opportunities for growth and learning within the firm.
  • Supporting the wider team with ad hoc duties as needed, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach.
Requirements
  • ATT qualification is desirable but not essential, with study support available for the right candidate.
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English, with a minimum of two years' tax experience, preferably gained in practice.
  • Technically minded with an aptitude for research, able to analyze complex tax issues and provide expert advice.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • A self-motivated team player, able to work closely with senior management and support the wider team.
  • Ambitious and career-driven, with a desire to progress within the firm.
