Payroll Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Payroll Analyst to support our Group Salaries department during the critical Testing & Parallel run phases of our HRIS Programme.
This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity for 6 months with an estimated salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain daily tasks within the payroll department, ensuring seamless operations during the transition to the new HRIS system, Dayforce.
- Monitor and clear enquiries from a shared mailbox.
- Perform complex calculations for Maternities, Long-Term Sickness, Statutory Sick Pay, and leavers.
- Process all Starters, Leavers, and Statutory Absence.
- Manage ad-hoc data changes across 14 payrolls, including weekly and pensioner payrolls.
- Handle pension-related changes across 14 payrolls.
- Process flexible benefit changes across 14 payrolls.
- Raise ad-hoc advances and third-party payments.
- Verify team processing accuracy.
- Complete system audits between HR and Payroll systems.
- Run payroll reporting suites at month-end.
- Advanced Microsoft Outlook and Excel skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Demonstrable ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Determination and adaptability to deliver results.
- Payroll Bureau background or experience with Payrite, FMP/IRIS an asset.
