Job Overview

MacGregor Black is seeking a highly skilled HR Manager to join their team in Hay-On-Wye. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end recruitment process, developing strategies for talent retention and employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent and support the company's growth.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and support career development.
  • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive salary structures and managing employee benefits packages.
  • Work closely with the Health & Safety team to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Develop and track key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex employee relations issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with professional HR certification highly desirable.
