We are proud to offer this role as a L3 HR support Apprenticeship in which you will be working to gain your L3 HR Administration Apprenticeship as well as gain a CIPD L3 certificate in people practice.

**What will I be doing?**

The Human Resources function is at the heart of our hotels and we have a brilliant opportunity for a talented individual to join the field HR team as a HR officer. This role is supporting Hilton at St George's Park, Hilton East Midlands Airport and Hilton Nottingham reporting to the Senior HR Manager and working closely with the wider HR team.

As a Human Resources Officer, you are responsible for supporting and advising the hotel leadership teams on proper policies and procedures to deliver an excellent team member experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Oversight of the new starter process and ensuring we provide a brilliant welcome to all team members within their first 12 weeks of employment and beyond
- Working in partnership with the COE's on property delivering support on low -level ER cases such as effective management of the short-term absence, probationary periods and Long-term absence
- Being an on-property advocate for Team member well being and supporting the hotels efforts in continuing the improvement of the wellbeing agenda.
- Play an active role in the Team Member Brand Committee focusing on the employee voice
- Communication and promotion of relevant HR initiatives
- Involvement in local recruitment activities such as recruitment fairs and open days
- Assist and resolve team member and management queries
- Complete all aspects of the apprenticeship programme including virtual learning and webinars

- Previous experience in Human Resources, either as a HR officer or equivalent role

- Whilst we promote flexible working, this role does require regular on-site presence at all three properties (Hilton at St Georges Park DE13, Hilton East Midlands Airport - DE74, Hilton Nottingham
- NG1 3PZ), therefore you must have a driving licence and access to a car.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

- Knowledge of hospitality
- Good knowledge of employment law and employee relations
- IT proficiency
- Project management skills
