About the Role

The People Manager will oversee a small HR team at our Burton on Trent distribution site. This is a fast-paced position requiring proven HR management skills to develop effective strategies and initiatives for a busy workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leading and Motivating the HR Team: Provide guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to handle various HR-related tasks.
  2. Developing Effective HR Strategies: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement HR plans that align with our goals and objectives.
  3. Guiding Stakeholders on HR Matters: Offer expert advice and guidance on HR-related issues.
  4. Overseeing Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
  5. Implementing Training Plans: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  6. Managing Recruitment Processes: Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
  7. Evaluating Performance: Analyze data to evaluate employee performance and productivity, identifying areas for improvement.
