Human Resources Generalist

Your new role at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited will see you working as a Temporary HR Advisor for an initial 6 month period, with potential for extension. This role will operate on a hybrid working model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. As the primary HR point of contact, you will provide support to employees and managers on various matters, including employee relations, performance issues, and absence management. You will also work in partnership with the HRBPs on matters such as redundancies and department restructuring. In addition, you will identify opportunities for policy and process improvement, analyse employee surveys, and assist hiring managers through the hiring requisition and approval processes. To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in a generalist HR role, with a lead on complex ER cases, and experience in a global matrix environment. You will receive a daily rate of £300 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations, including performance issues, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
- Work in partnership with the HRBPs on matters such as redundancies and department restructuring
- Identify opportunities for policy and process improvement
- Analyse employee surveys and other feedback methods
- Assist hiring managers through the hiring requisition and approval processes
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a generalist HR role, with a lead on complex ER cases
- Experience in a global matrix environment
