We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Administrator to join our National Financial Planning practice in Henley-on-Thames.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will provide exceptional administrative support to our Financial Planners, enabling them to deliver outstanding service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare client meetings, including issuing letters of authority and gathering information for Financial Planners/Paraplanners.
  • Prepare valuations and mailings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in product research and information gathering, providing valuable insights to Financial Planners.
  • Obtain illustrations from Assureweb and product providers, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Process new business applications, checking all compliance aspects and chasing them through to completion.
  • Deal with existing business queries, providing prompt and professional responses.
  • Produce client review packs for Financial Planners, ensuring all necessary information is included.
  • Maintain client files on Intelliflo (IO), ensuring all relevant paperwork is present, relevant, and compliant.
  • Organise and maintain effective filing and communication systems in the office, including client database management on IO.
  • Perform general office administration, including opening, distributing, and logging post.
  • Ensure all dealings with clients are carried out in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is maintained as per company procedures.
  • Maintain all standards of performance as required by the firm.
  • Ensure all mandatory annual Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering training is complete and up to date, and be able to demonstrate a satisfactory level of understanding and responsibilities.
  • Comply with the firm's Compliance Manual, Human Resource Procedures, and other policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will possess a minimum of FPC qualification or equivalent.
  • Ideally, they will be educated to at least A-level or equivalent standard.
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent at Grade B or above is preferable.
  • Significant experience of working with a Financial Advisor or comparable is essential.
  • Understanding of the provision of advice to clients in a compliant manner as detailed in the firm's compliance manual and procedures is required.
  • Strong customer service skills and good IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office, are essential.
  • Knowledge of Intelliflo (IO) or similar client database system would be an advantage.
