About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Meeting and Events Sales Coordinator to join our team at Leonardo Boutique Hotel Huntingtower Perth. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Meeting and Events department, maximizing profitability through effective cost controls and supplier negotiation, and maintaining consistent standards of service to ensure guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all meeting and event inquiries, whether received via email, phone, fax, or in-person.
  • Update sales and catering systems with accurate and relevant information, and produce reports to measure progress and opportunity.
  • Distribute function sheets to relevant departments in a timely manner, ensuring attention to detail.
  • Process daily conference billing and investigate any queries related to charges and billing.
  • Ensure all brochure requests, information, and relevant details are sent to clients.
  • File away all confirmations and relevant details, and maintain C&B files.
  • Attend weekly revenue and operations meetings, ensuring all relevant figures are up-to-date.
  • Identify new sales leads, chase, and secure them with the guidance of the Sales Manager.
  • Deal with complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Lead site inspections professionally.
  • Be familiar with sister hotels and ensure leads are forwarded and followed up.
  • Communicate hotel services to guests and maintain high standards of self-presentation.
  • Actively participate in training and personal exercises to improve standards and performance.
  • Work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures for the department.
  • Keep staff and work areas tidy, safe, and report any hazards, accidents, losses, or damage to management.
