Vacancy Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Controller to join our award-winning Porsche Centre in Perth, Scotland.

About the Role

As a Sales Controller, you will be responsible for leading and developing our Sales Teams to achieve or exceed Unit, F&I and Value-Added Product objectives.

You will work collaboratively with the Sales Manager to maintain status as FCA approved advisor and achieve monthly objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all finance policies and procedures are adhered to by daily checking all relevant funding information.
  • Work with the Sales Manager to maintain FCA approved advisor status and achieve monthly objectives.
  • Review monthly sales and profit information to instigate action to meet targets.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of competitors, the external marketplace and industry developments.
  • Achieve finance targets and agreed profit targets for 'add-ons' e.g., paint protection insurance.
  • Improve profitability by negotiating the best financial deal and offering customers extended service contracts, protection programmes and accessory packages.
  • Consult with customers to establish their needs, resolve any complaints professionally and calmly.
  • Set high standards for self and others, ensuring a motivated and positive environment for the sales team.
  • Create a daily and weekly structure that drives customer retention and renewals.
  • Formulate action plans to increase finance, insurance, and warranty sales.
  • Ensure the sales process is adhered to by all Sales Advisors.

Requirements

  • Experienced Sales Controller or Business Manager within the luxury sector.
  • A high level of professional acumen and an outstanding work ethic.
  • Fantastic communication skills and a natural ability to build conversation.
  • A natural and progressive passion for sports cars and the product you promote.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of Sales Advisors and Porsche Pro.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • A class-leading level of organisation and articulation.
  • A keen and progressive understanding of EV (electric vehicles) and the evolution of electrification.
