Sales Development Manager

Our team at Perth Racecourse is seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to drive our sales efforts and contribute to the growth of our business. This exciting role will be pivotal in managing and implementing sales opportunities for Hospitality and General Ticketing, ensuring that annual sales targets are met, and client expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external communications, assist customers with inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, manage all mailing enquiries, digital and hard, provide product information, and help resolve any issues or concerns.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage and update the customer database within the CRM, assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating sales meetings, process sales orders, and maintain accurate records in the CRM.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system, provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management, gather feedback, and analyse the success of events to improve future planning.
- Business Development: Identify and qualify potential customers through research and networking, build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business, maximise profitability by assisting in the layout of hospitality areas, monitor industry trends, and conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Manager and team to support their efforts and initiatives, participate in team meetings, and contribute ideas for improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales role with a focus on customer support and relationship building.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional organisational and administrative skills, including proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- A results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving sales targets and contributing to business growth.
