Experienced Healthcare Professional Sought for Advanced Clinical Role

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team in Staffordshire, Yorkshire, and the North East.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves working as an autonomous practitioner within our Urgent Treatment Centres, supporting existing clinical care and enhancing the capacity and capability of our multi-professional teams.
- You will be responsible for assessing health and clinical needs of patients, undertaking consultations using your advanced clinical practice skills, and making informed decisions to diagnose, treat, refer, or discharge patients.
This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to shift-lead clinical teams and provide mentorship to junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Shift lead the clinical teams
- Carry out consultations with patients - taking a comprehensive patient history; physical examinations and use of expert knowledge and clinical judgement to identify potential diagnosis
- Decide on and carry out treatment, including prescribing medicine or referring to primary or secondary care specialist services within local agreed pathways and protocols as appropriate
- Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent)
- Registration as a Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist
- Evidence of completion of study in minor illness, independent prescriber status, and willingness to develop skills in minor injury and paediatric care
