Residential Care Assistant Lead

As a Residential Care Assistant Lead at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent care practices and supporting the care team to deliver person-centered care plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Work closely with the care team to identify and address individual needs, promoting independence and dignity.
- Participate in training and development opportunities, enhancing skills and knowledge to drive quality improvement.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, upholding the company's values and standards.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar role or caring for older people.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the care team.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional care and support.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to complete paperwork and record-keeping tasks.
