About this Role

VNA Education is seeking an experienced Education and SEND Director to lead our SEND team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our SEND provision and ensuring that all students receive high-quality support and education.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing teams, as well as a deep understanding of SEND policy and provision. They will be able to develop and implement effective strategies to support students, while also building strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.

About the Salary

The salary for this role is between $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including generous holidays, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of SEND policy and provision.
  • Manage a team of SEND staff and coordinate their work to ensure effective support for students.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure that students receive comprehensive support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, health services, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
