About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Educational Leader to join our team as Director of Inclusive Education in East London.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing inclusive education strategies that support students with special educational needs (SEN) and neurodiverse learning requirements.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, parents, and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting students with SEND.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their practice and promote a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the school community.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practice in SEND and inclusion.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher (holding QTS or equivalent) or Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience within inclusion or in SEND, therapeutic or outreach education sector.
  • Experience of managing neurodiverse children with SEND, including ASC and/or SEMH.
  • Proven skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and carers.
Salary and Benefits

£54,000 - £57,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme and professional development opportunities.
