Business Operations Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work with ASM Auto Recycling Ltd., a leading vehicle salvage agent and parts recycler in the UK.
About the RoleThe Office Administrator position involves handling customer inquiries, registering auction bidders, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service face-to-face at the counter. This role requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Key Responsibilities- Contact Management: Handle telephone calls and email enquiries from insurance companies and members of the public efficiently and professionally.
- Auction Bidding: Register new auction bidders and process payments accurately and promptly.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional face-to-face customer service at the counter, responding to queries and resolving issues effectively.
- Motor Vehicle Knowledge: Possess a general understanding of motor vehicles, with previous experience being a distinct advantage.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a clear and confident telephone manner.
- Team Player: Be comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel, is highly desirable.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (4:45pm on Fridays), with a competitive salary and opportunities for career growth.
