Support Worker for People with Dementia

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team, providing support to individuals living with dementia in the Fife area. You will work closely with clients and their carers to establish personal goals and outcomes, providing guidance and assistance to help them achieve these.

The Outreach service is a vital part of our organisation's commitment to supporting people living with dementia and their carers. As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in delivering this service, ensuring that clients receive the support they need to live life to the full and as independently as possible.

  • Provide support to individuals living with dementia, helping them to achieve their personal goals and outcomes
  • Work closely with clients, their carers, and other stakeholders to reduce social isolation and build confidence in using public transport
  • Engage with local communities and other stakeholders to promote our Outreach service
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification and experience working with people with dementia
  • Positive approach to dementia and willingness to participate in relevant training
  • Flexible, inclusive, and creative approach
