Community Support Worker

This exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity calls for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in social work and community support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role, as you will work closely with colleagues, service users, and external partners.
Experience in utilizing IT systems and familiarity with NHS policies and procedures, specifically related to social work, are highly desirable. As a Community Support Worker, you will be required to travel efficiently and adapt to diverse environments, covering both urban and rural areas.

Estimated Annual Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000
Main Responsibilities:
- Have good communication skills and evidence of potential to reach a high standard of professional verbal and written communication in a range of environments;
- Are able to negotiate and liaise with other professionals and agencies in the interests of service users;
- Are able to work as a member of a team by establishing positive working relationships;
- Have confidence and ability in the use of IT systems;
- Are registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) on the Social Worker part of the Register;
- Have good organisational skills and be able to manage the demands of a proportionate workload.
