Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £45 per hour, plus overtime rates and benefits. Generous annual leave entitlements, free uniform, and ongoing professional development opportunities are also included.
Job DescriptionAs an Assisted Living Care Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks, taking into account individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Encouraging social interaction and participation in activities, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Collaborating with the Registered Nurse/Team Leader to develop and implement care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.
- A minimum of 1 year's experience working as a care assistant or support worker in a similar care setting is essential.
- Possession of SVQ level 3 or above/equivalent in Social Services and Healthcare (as per SSSC guidelines) is highly desirable.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including full-time, part-time, and bank shifts.
