Community Link Worker

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Post Diagnostic Support Link Worker to join our National Team. As a key member of the Community Mental Health Team at Newcraigs Hospital, Inverness, you will work closely with individuals with dementia and their families in the Highland locality.
Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality, person-centred support, centered around Alzheimer Scotland's 5-pillar model. This includes empowering individuals to understand their condition, connect with their community, and make informed decisions about their future care.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of dementia, its effects on individuals and their families, and the skills to use digital platforms are also essential.
The estimated annual salary for this position is £28,000-£32,000, taking into account the location and requirements of the role. A full driving license and access to a vehicle are mandatory.
