Care Support Worker

As a Care Assistant at Meallmore, you will be part of our team that provides high-quality, personalized care and support to older people, including those living with dementia and related conditions.
We are committed to creating a caring environment where our residents feel valued, respected, and supported. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering our care and support services, working closely with our team to ensure our residents receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents, in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Assist in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, promoting the well-being and dignity of our residents.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver excellent care and support services.
- Adhere to Meallmore's policies, procedures, and standards, as well as National Care Standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring and compassionate approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a flexible approach to shift work.
