Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Care Supervisor to join our team at Superior Healthcare. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the care of our clients with complex health conditions, ensuring that they receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct direct observations and competency checks to ensure staff are meeting the required standards of care.
  • Carry out ongoing care needs and risk assessments, updating these as required in conjunction with the Nurse Manager assigned to your team.
  • Manage staff rotas, ensuring that team members are working to the best of their ability at all times.
  • Attend team meetings and identify areas of poor practice that need to be addressed.
  • Work regular clinical shifts with clients to ensure a continued awareness of their needs.

Requirements:

  • A supervisory/Coaching qualification or willingness to work towards an NVQ 3 Supervisory qualification.
  • Evidence of having completed training related to clients with complex care needs.
  • Experience of working with clients with complex care needs.
  • Excellent assessment skills.
  • Community experience.
  • Experience of working to targets and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of tracheostomy, ventilation care, cough assist, and enteral feeding (extensive training provided).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan effectively with good time management.
