Transport Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Supervisor to join our Facilities Management Transport Team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role and a full clean driving license.
Main Duties of the Job
The Transport Supervisor will be responsible for the daily supervision of a team of drivers, managing rotas and workload. They will also be responsible for the provision of a professional and efficient Internal Mail Delivery service collecting and delivering mail across Kent, including equipment, and other ad hoc items as and when required.

Person Specification
Essential
- Professional knowledge acquired through vocational qualifications to Level 3 or equivalent
- At least 5 years experience in a similar supervisory role
- Full clean driving license
Desirable
- Certificate in professional competence in national road haulage
- Previous driving role experience
- Good knowledge of Kent's road networks
