About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Supervisor to join our Facilities Management Transport Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the provision of a professional and efficient Internal Mail Delivery service across Kent.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supervising a team of drivers and managing rotas and workload
  • Ensuring the daily collection and delivery of mail and equipment across Kent
  • Maintaining the continuity of the service at all times
  • Managing vehicle maintenance and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Working closely with the team to achieve excellent customer service and quality standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good knowledge of Kent's road networks and routine daily maintenance of vehicles
